Dear Star Chevrolet-Nissan-Volvo Customers,

In the coming weeks and months, you will start to see the name “Delaney” associated with our dealership. Once we receive the necessary approvals, the new name of the dealership will be Delaney Chevrolet-Nissan-Volvo.

While this is a change, it is not anything “new” as we have been part of the Delaney Automotive Group for the past 38 years. Founded in 1971 in Indiana, PA with the purchase of the Chevrolet franchise, Delaney Automotive Group has grown over the years to include Buick, Honda, Subaru, and Hyundai franchises in Indiana; Chevrolet, Nissan, and Volvo here in Greensburg, PA; as well as Nissan in State College, PA.

First and foremost, please know that there will be no changes to management, ownership, or the employees and team members that you have come to know over the years at Star. This is a change in name only and is being done for a few simple reasons.

First, as we continue to grow, we believe it is best from a business perspective that our dealerships share a common name. Doing so will enable us to share services associated with operating the dealerships and reduce costs incurred by having multiple names.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the name Delaney is one that we are proud of. We are honored—and thankful—to have served the automotive needs of our customers throughout the region since 1971. As we prepare to celebrate our 50th anniversary in the automobile business, we feel it is the perfect time to “officially” make Star part of the Delaney family. We hope you continue to remain part of our family as well!
